Do you have something in your life that you want to stop, change or overcome? Many clients have come to work with me because I have experience in working with depression, anxiety, addictions, questioning sexuality and gender, and also relationship work including non-monogamy. I am a compassionate counsellor grounded in the person-centred approach, which believes that each person is unique, and has the resources within us to find the best way forward during difficult circumstances.

About me and my practice
I offer a safe, warm, confidential space for you to explore your feelings and experiences, and hopefully express things which are troubling you in a non-judgemental or critical atmosphere. You may find it difficult reaching out for help during your most vulnerable moments however, if you are suffering, perhaps living with this is more daunting?
I am grounded in the Person-Centred approach where the pace of sessions are lead by clients. I also have experience working within a brief therapy settings such as Solution Focus Brief Therapy, to help aid motivation for change.
Qualifications
BA (Hons) Humanistic Counselling Degree from University of Chichester
Diploma in Higher Education in Humanistic Counselling from University of Chichester
Sand stories - Using the Sand Tray in the counselling room
Bereavement and loss awareness training
Certificate in Counselling Studies and Theories (CPCAB)
Certificate in Counselling Skills (CPCAB)

Additional Information
I am also trained as a bereavement and loss counsellor.
I have additional training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy and creative approaches such as drawing, writing, clay work, or sand tray therapy.
I am ICO registered, DBS checked, and hold professional indemnity insurance.

If you would like to talk with me first, I offer a free 15 minute telephone call to answer any questions or concerns, to help you understand my way of working and process. This can help you visualise what your desired outcomes from having counselling will be, and how they will benefit you.
